Napoleonic Coach craftsmanship competition: Junior Division age bracket was 12-15 and Senior Division was 16-19.   The Canadian’s participated from 1930 to 1935.

Model car design and craftsmanship competition: Junior Division age bracket was 12-15 and Senior Division was 16-19.  In the early 1960, the model car age brackets were slightly expanded to 11-15 and 16-20.

The number in the parentheses (     ) indicates the Guildsman’s age when they won their scholarship award.  Their home City/State at the time of the award is also indicated.

[ In 1956 top scholarship award amounts were increased by an increment of $1,000 and ten (10) National Styling Scholarships prizes worth $1,000 each were added for Excellence in Design (e.g., originality of design or high aesthetic appeal).  Only first state award winners were eligible for a Regional Award (all-expenses paid trip to the Guild Convention in Detroit valued at $750) which established the top models (20 Junior & 20 Senior) eligible for the top scholarships. 40 Regional award winners attended the 4-day Guild Convention in Detroit in late summer (usually August) and feted by top brass.  Contestants did not have to be a Regional Award winner to be eligible for a National Styling Scholarship award.  There are many examples of lower state award winners walking off the stage with a National Styling Scholarship.  Approximately 130 Styling Scholarships were awarded from 1956 to 1968.]
